Education on schools
We believe that education about ‘the plastic waste problem’ contributes to a greener world. That is why we visit primary schools all over the world. With our lessons on plastic waste and recycling, we hope to inspire children and raise awareness.
Teachers speaking
"On Bonaire a lot of plastic washes ashore. We have clean ups every week, but what can we do with all of this plastic on such an island. Together with the 4Green Foundation we had a wonderful adventure. After the clean-up we recycled the plastic. What a discovery! The children loved it, making beautiful things from the plastic soup. Thank you very much! Greetings, Miss Mirella"

Contact us
Schools worldwide
During our journey we visit local schools. First we talk with the children about self-sufficient living and plastic litter. Thereafter we go outside to collect plastic, which we will recycle together. It is also possible to come into contact with a school in our home country, the Netherlands. This way children can learn from each other worldwide.
Do you know a nice school that we can visit? Let us know so we can look at the possibilities!

Schools in the Netherlands
Primary schools in the Netherlands can sign up for special ‘New Nexus environmental education classes’, which are provided by the municipallity of Groningen (Groningen Schoon Dankzij Mij). Children learn in an interactive way why plastic does not belong in nature and clean up their schoolyard or residential area together with environmental stewards. It is also possible to come into contact with a school on the other side of the world.

Video for schools
This video is especially made for primary schools. We show the children how beautiful the world is, but also the plastic pollution we encounter during our journey. Thereafter we explain how we live self-sufficient and how we recycle plastic waste.
